Two Hands Ministry

Two Hands Ministry seeks to bring language, community, & the Gospel to the deaf in Western Honduras so that each one may “grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ..” (2 Peter 3:18)

Our History

Two Hands Ministry is a young ministry that has begun ministering to families who have deaf children in the rural communities of Western Honduras.

Our Mission

At Two Hands Ministry we seek to bring LANGUAGE, COMMUNITY, & THE GOSPEL to the deaf so that each one may “grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” (2 Peter 3:18)

Our Values

We value language. Created in the image of God, our brains are uniquely designed for communication (language). We value community. The Lord did not design us to live this life alone but sovereignly placed each child in their own family. We value the Gospel. “The power of salvation to all who believe,” (Romas 1:16) The Gospel is the focus of why we do what we do. It is our foundation, our guide, and our goal.

What We Do

We teach sign language to deaf children and young adults who previously had little to no access to language. We seek to build up and encourage the family of the deaf individual, not only teaching language to the deaf but to their community as well. We encourage relationships among the deaf, building a community of people who all use the same language. Ultimately, we use language and community to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We seek to teach the Scriptures to these deaf children so that they may know and grow in the grace of our Lord and Savior.
