Utah Partnerships for Christ

Utah Partnerships for Christ began in 2000. UPFC’s focus is to train students to go on a short-term mission trip to Utah. These one-week trips are for high school and college students. In addition, UPFC also utilitzes radio to reach Utah with the Gospel.

Our History

UPFC’s founder Russ East was saved out of the Mormon church at the age of 14. After going on mission trips to Utah, the Lord burdened him and a few friends to start a mission agency with Utah as it’s focus. Seeing Utah has such a small number of Christians per capita, UPFC was born. For instance… Provo, Utah has been reported to have 0.6% of it’s population as Evangelical Christians.

Our Values

UPFC desires to mobilize high school and college students by training them and equipping them to compassionately share the Gospel with boldness. We encourage intentional, prayerful, interactions with anyone God puts in our path. We value being genuine, friendly, and being led by God’s Spirit to act as His Ambassador. We partner with local churches and ministries in Utah and out of state in order to carry out the Great Commission.

What We Do

A representative of UPFC will travel to your church to conduct a 5 hour workshop and a 2 hour planning session to put your mission trip in motion. The logistics of your trip will be tailored to fit your group as the Lord leads us. Typically, we spend 70f% of our time engaging in good Gospel-centered conversations over a meal, or a hike, or a setting that is conducive to sincere discussion. We will do a VBS, work projects, and a number of different forms of service to assist local churches and provide some encouragement for Believers. This will consists of 20% of your mission trip, with 10% set aside for some hiking, skiiing, rafting or swimming….enjoying the outdoors.
Our mission trips are year-round. Call us for more information! Read some testimonies of past team leaders on our Facebook page!
