YWAM (Youth With A Mission) Gold Coast

YWAM (Youth With A Mission) Gold Coast is located on the east coast of Australia in the beautiful state of Queensland where they offer Discipleship Training Schools (DTS), School of Worship (SOW), Certificate IV in Christian Missions (C4CM) and many more local ministries on the Gold Coast.

YWAM GC is impacting its community by bringing PRACTICAL HELP, COMMUNITY EVENTS, TRAINING FOR YOUNG PEOPLE, and an acute awareness that each individual has value and purpose in this world.

Our History

YWAM  is an international movement of Christians working to help make a difference in a needy world. Founded in 1960, it is now one of the largest interdenominational and international Christian ministries, with about 12,000 volunteer staff [and thousands more affiliated workers] based in over 800 locations in over 150 countries.

Our Mission

To be disciples of Jesus Christ, who represent the love and reality of God, effecting change in our city and beyond.

Our Values

YWAM Gold Coast has many different areas of helps that we engage our staff and students into on a regular basis. The goal is to see effected change happening in the Gold Coast, and to see individual people feel valued and cared for by our ministries. We want people to know that God cares about them and has an amazing plan for their life!

What We Do

Each year YWAM Gold Coast welcomes people from all over the world who participate in our Discipleship Training Schools, University of the Nations Secondary Schools and Local Outreaches.

Our DTS’ is a 6 month course designed to enable you to go deeper in your relationship with God and begin to explore how God wants to use you. Our School of Worship see’s the Worshiper mature in their walk with Jesus as well as find their unique calling and ultimately be released into their destiny bringing glory to Him every step of the way. The C4CM is a hands-on leadership development program for those who either feel they have leadership potential or those who want to be empowered to disciple others.

Our local ministries like Coffee Van gives us the opportunity to care for the poor and needy on the streets. It’s our heart to bless our community in a very practical way by handing out free coffee, tea, Milo, and food items. This is our way of showing the community that we care and value them on a personal level. Our Outback Mobile Team recognizes that some of the greatest needs in Australian communities are found in places that are hardest to get to geographically. This is why we are compelled to respond in sending teams to remote regions of NSW, and QLD.Through ongoing involvement in these communities, we are building a level of trust and earning the privilege of seeing these amazing young peoples’ lives impacted and transformed.
