Mission this summer in Lebanon (ancient Phoenicia) – known as the land of great Cedars and the ‘Paris of the Middle East’ for its beauty, culture, food and rich heritage. HEARTFIRE is pleased to collaborate with extraordinary churches and health care organizations in this historical land as we look to bring desperately-needed medical services to the people of Lebanon, as well as the Syrian refugees who have been displaced by war. This 13-day trip will include visits to Biblical towns, crusader castles, early Roman temples, and other ancient sites.
The glory of Lebanon shall come to you, the juniper, the fir, and the cypress together, to adorn My sanctuary; and I will make the place of My feet glorious. – Isaiah 60:13
Participants will be given the opportunity to step out of their comfort zones – serving medically, learning Arabic, developing deep relationality with patients and their family members as they are immersed into middle eastern culture, and serving in this extraordinary Biblical land.
