As an EPIC volunteer, you will be placed directly under the established programme of Youth for Christ Namibia (YFC). You will serve alongside YFC staff and local leaders in meaningful, hands-on ministry work. Your daily activities will include youth mentoring and discipleship, children’s ministry, community outreaches, feeding programmes, sports coaching, creative arts, worship leading, and practical service projects. You will also support general programme coordination and help with the development of future community initiatives.

Where

You will be based primarily at Youth for Christ Namibia facilities in the Okahandja-Osona area (central Namibia), with some activities also taking place in various towns and surrounding communities.

When

The next intake is June 2026. Programs run for 6 months. Volunteers usually work Monday to Friday (5 days a week), with weekends free.

Skills

We welcome volunteers with skills or a willingness to learn in the following areas: Youth mentoring & discipleship Teaching / life skills workshops Sports coaching Children’s ministry & creative play Music, singing, dancing & worship leading Photography, videography & creative arts Community outreach & event coordination Basic construction & maintenance No previous experience is required — a willing heart and servant attitude are most important.
