Excelsior’s Peak Impact Centre (EPIC) was founded in 2026 by Jason Jonathan Van Wyk in Namibia. Born out of a deep desire to see young people serve with purpose, EPIC started as a faith-based volunteer recruitment agency that connects international Christians with meaningful service opportunities across Namibia. Our goal is to create life-changing cultural exchange experiences while generating sustainable funding to support the charitable work of local churches, organizations and other ministries within Namibia that either struggle with the man-power or funds.

Our History

Excelsior’s Peak Impact Centre (EPIC) was founded in 2026 by Jason Jonathan Van Wyk in Namibia. Born out of a deep desire to see young people serve with purpose, EPIC started as a faith-based volunteer recruitment agency that connects international Christians with meaningful service opportunities across Namibia. Our goal is to create life-changing cultural exchange experiences while generating sustainable funding to support the charitable work of local churches, organizations and other ministries within Namibia that either struggle with the man-power or funds.

Our Mission

To recruit, equip, and deploy passionate Christian volunteers from around the world into meaningful service in Namibia, while generating sustainable funding to support the charitable work of Excelsior’s Peak Impact Center through youth empowerment, community development, and faith-based outreaches.

What We Do

We recruit and place Christian volunteers (aged 18–40) into 3, 6, and 12-month service programs across Namibia. Volunteers serve alongside local churches, ministries, and community organizations in areas such as youth mentoring, community outreaches, children’s ministry, sports coaching, worship, and practical service. All volunteer fees help fund the charitable work of Excelsior’s Peak International Commission Trust, including community projects and the future multi-purpose Impact Centre in Rehoboth.
