Teachers, agriculturalists, business people, artists, doctors, coaches and many others serve on church-planting teams in over 100 countries among 130 people groups. God is moving in the world. God is moving in you. He is equipping you and sustaining you so that you can join Him in His redemptive work. There are over 3 thousand unreached people groups. Reaching them requires creativity and cost; flexibility and faith; teamwork and trust.
God has truly blessed Pioneers since its founding more than 35 years ago. Today we have 3,122 international members serving on 315 teams in 108 countries among 207 unreached people groups. Pioneers partners with more than 2,000 churches to send these missionaries to least-reached peoples.
Pioneers mobilizes teams to glorify God among unreached peoples by initiating church-planting movements in partnership with local churches.
Pioneers has eight core values that our members share…a passion for God, work among unreached people groups, church planting movements, an ethos of grace, work in partnership with the local church, a team focus, innovation and flexibility and participatory servant leadership.
Pioneers seeks to grow gatherings of Christ followers among groups of people who do not have a viable Christian witness among them. Sometimes that means sending teams of workers into some of the world’s most challenging environments. Pioneers values the local church and seeks the partnership not only of it’s members’ sending churches but also of gatherings of believers that are culturally near the unreached people group they serve.
