Bukidnon Faith Christian School, Inc. is a Christian K-12 non-stock, nonprofit educational institution located in Valencia City, Bukidnon, Philippines. Our approach to education is with the realization that without God, the pursuit of knowledge is hollow and meaningless (Ecclesiastes 12:9-14). This private school has been run by a Board of Trustees since 1992 with the partnership of parents and a dedicated team of local educators.
BFCSI’s roots can be traced to Faith Christian School, a preschool operated by the wife of a local Baptist pastor in a rented room in what was then a small but growing municipality. In 1988, when the number of students increased and it became a challenge to run it by herself, Mrs. Espinas asked a Christian couple, Mr. and Mrs. Rogelio Roque, to continue the ministry. It was not until 1991 that the Roques were convinced to invest in Christian education as a ministry. In 1992, the school was officially recognized as Bukidnon Faith Christian School, Inc. with its own school building along Sayre Highway in Hagkol, Valencia.
Bukidnon Faith Christian School, Inc. is committed to give God the utmost glory by equipping each student with a Christ-centered, excellent education, partnering with parents and guardians in the children’s character formation and development.
The school motto is “Bridging Character and Excellence.” The school seal symbolizes the values we uphold: the importance of faith, truth, and wisdom; the Bible as the absolute truth and guide in Christian living; dedication to the duty of molding students and providing a safe, holistic and secure learning environment; and joy in honoring and being loyal to God.
BFCSI provides private education in Kindergarten level up to grade 12. We have an excellent sports (basketball, soccer, volleyball) program which sadly has been significantly affected by the pandemic.
