Childcare Worldwide is a Christian child sponsorship ministry that shares the gospel, provides hope, and helps impoverished children around the world. Children’s ministries, children’s homes, in many countries around the world.
Our mission is to transform children’s lives by sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with them, providing for their physical needs, and supporting their long-term education.
Childcare Worldwide was founded in 1981 by Max and Marlies Lange and has grown to sponsoring children in Africa, Asia, and South America. Our generous sponsors partner with us to connect children in need to Life Centers in their communities, led by in-country teachers and church workers, who lead Bible lessons, teach worship songs, play Scripture memory games, and share the hope of the Gospel.

We hire exclusively Christian individuals in every project we operate. Our country directors and program staff are all national professionals, allowing our programs to be more effective within that culture. Our programs are all run through the local church. We accept no government funding of any kind, which allows us total freedom in proclaiming the Gospel.
AT CHILDCARE WORLDWIDE, WE BELIEVE:
The Bible to be the inspired, infallible, inerrant in its original writing, and authoritative Word of God for all matters of faith and life.
That there is only one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Each having the same essence and attributes.
In the deity and humanity of Jesus Christ, God manifested in the flesh, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, His present rule as Head of the Church and in His personal return in power and glory.
In the personhood of the Holy Spirit as the third member of the Godhead, by whose indwelling, the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
That all men and women, regardless of age, are lost because of their sin. Salvation is offered by the grace and love of God, because of the atoning death of Christ and it is obtained through faith (apart from works), and regeneration by the Holy Spirit through the preaching of the Gospel.
In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost. They that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of condemnation.
In the spiritual unity of all true believers, the Church, with Jesus Christ as the Head, and its local representation under the authority of its leadership.
The core of Childcare Worldwide’s impact are our Life Centers, located in the center of communities and hosted by a local church. Life Centers provide children with an opportunity to hear the Gospel, learn about Christ’s redemptive love, and trust Him as their Savior. They also receive nutritious food, clean drinking water, medicine, and school supplies. As we remove barriers of their physical need and provide support for their education, children can grow spiritually and physically into thriving young adults.
Poverty and hardship are ever-present in the world and impact children the hardest, creating great physical and spiritual need. But we know that Jesus is the hope the world needs, and meeting physical needs is a tangible, helpful way to help people in need and share the Gospel with them.
Childcare Worldwide has connections on three continents to deliver food, water, education, and the Gospel. Because of our track record of responsible, ethical stewardship of donor funds, you can trust us to be a faithful partner in providing reliable help where help is needed most. Childcare Worldwide has in-country relationships in parts of the world with the greatest need, and our approach is centered on relationships and transparency.
