FTU was born out of a desire to mobilize young Latinos into the unreached people groups. It all started a decade ago through our founder Chris Gomez. Raised in a world surrounded by the gospel, Chris was instilled with a passion for serving the lost and the poor from a young age.
But as he watched people from around the world come to Guatemala to minister, he couldn’t help but wonder – why aren’t more Latin Americans doing the same? To empower people from all over the world (especially Latinos) to go beyond their borders and share the good news with unreached people groups overseas.
With unwavering passion and infectious energy, FTU is inspiring a generation of young people to step out of their comfort zones and embrace the call to missions.
