Our Mission
GOAL Project’s mission ‘is to educate, train and empower community leadership in addressing the challenges of addiction and recovery. GOAL’s vision is to be a premiere Christian organization that globally impacts the challenges of addiction and the wholeness of recovery.
Our Values
SELF WORTH Our strength comes from knowing that each individual is worthy in God’s sight despite our limitations and imperfections. With God’s grace, we strive to be all that we can be spiritually, physically, mentally and psychologically. FAITH We place our beliefs in God’s Word, accepting the Holy Scriptures to be the inspired Word of God. We seek guidance and direction from the Holy Spirit through the practice of prayer and study of the Scriptures. We accept the Nicene Creed as the sufficient statement of the Christian faith, and the church’s rule for the interpretation of scripture. SERVICE We have been called to serve others by helping create new ministries where the 12-step spiritual principles do not exist (or flourish) for the purpose of healing the minds and bodies of those who suffer from addiction so that they may realize God-given potential and peace. COMMUNITY We support and sustain each other as individuals while working cooperatively with other organizations as we share our unique gifts and skills without expecting reciprocation. LEARNING We seek always to increase our understanding of addiction ministries and cultures where we are called while improving our service to others. ACCOUNTABILITY We hold ourselves responsible and accountable for living the principles we proclaim as we generate and complete ministry initiatives, being good stewards of the resources trusted to us.
GOAL - What We Do
