Hope Christian Church was founded on 11 January 2015 through faith in God alone, beginning with only a few believers in response to the vision God gave to Rev. Tun Lin. From its inception, the church has been committed to fulfilling the Great Commission, with the vision of being a Christ-centered church that shines the light of Jesus Christ throughout Myanmar and to the nations. The very first worship service consisted only of Rev. Tun Lin and his family, gathering together in a rented house. Although the beginning was small, God faithfully blessed the ministry. As more believers dedicated themselves to the work of the Lord, the church steadily grew and expanded its ministry to different parts of Yangon and other regions of Myanmar. By God's grace, Hope Christian Church continues to experience His faithfulness and provision. Our prayer is to remain faithful to His calling, to grow continually in spiritual maturity, and to proclaim the Gospel while making disciples of Jesus Christ. Today, the Lord has enabled the church to establish three daughter churches in the Yangon Region and one daughter church in Pyin Oo Lwin, Mandalay Region. In addition, the church partners with seven church planters serving in different parts of Myanmar, working together to reach unreached communities with the Gospel and to establish new churches. Hope Christian Church is affiliated with the Myanmar Evangelical Christian Alliance (MECA), Registration No. 200/4-22 (1334) R, M-215, and remains committed to biblical teaching, evangelism, church planting, discipleship, and serving communities with the love of Christ. As we look to the future, our desire is to glorify God by making disciples of all nations, strengthening local churches, equipping Christian leaders, and demonstrating Christ's compassion through practical ministry. We trust that the God who has been faithful since the beginning will continue to lead and sustain His Church for His glory.
