Somerhill Kids Education Services was founded in February 2023 to respond to the critical educational needs of children in rural and underserved communities around Kampala, Uganda.

What started as a small community learning initiative has grown into a dedicated education service providing early childhood education, learning support, and mentorship for vulnerable children who lack access to quality schooling.

We are committed to nurturing every child’s potential through education, care, and community support, ensuring no child is left behind due to poverty or lack of opportunity. Our work is strengthened through collaboration and support from partners who share our vision for transforming children's lives through education.

Our History

Somerhill Kids Education Services was founded in February 2023 to respond to the critical educational needs of children in rural and underserved communities around Kampala, Uganda.

What We Do

At Somerhill Kids, we provide early learning and education support for children in rural and poor communities. We teach children how to read, write and count, we give them a safe place to learn and play, and we support their families. We also do mentorship and guidance to help children grow with good values. Our goal is to make sure these children don’t miss out on education just because they are poor.
