Our History

Rahab’s Rope is a 15 year old non-profit that works with women and children in India who have been affected by human sex trafficking. Once our founder, Vicki Moore, had learned of this horrible life young women and children were forced to live, she knew she had to do something.

Our Mission

The mission of Rahab’s Rope is to give hope and opportunity to women and girls that are at risk or have been forced into the commercial sex trade of India. We provide a safe and loving environment that will enable them to grow and develop both physically and spiritually.

Our Values

We are a faith-based organization and believe that faith is nothing without action. We believe in Jesus and His restoration power to these lives that have been burdened by slavery.

What We Do

Rahab’s Rope works in four different states in India (Goa, Mumbai, Manipur, and Bangalore) in efforts to fight human sex trafficking through prevention, direct intervention, and aftercare programs. Our programs consist of working in preschools, providing after school tutoring, vocational training for young women, life-skills classes, bible studies, and working in children’s homes and red-light areas.
