Rainbow Network

Rainbow Network is an interdenominational Christian Ministry working only in rural remote Nicaragua with about 42,000 people who live in 112 specific communities of Nicaragua. Everything we do involves community participation. We have significant community organizations in each village and do our work through these groups. We focus on healthcare, education, economic development and housing.

Our History

Rainbow Network was started in 1995 after a need was identified for a holistic approach to tackling poverty. The design of our mission is aimed to address each obstacle that people in poverty face, and to build communities up through authentic, Christ-centered relationships.

Our Mission

Community participation is essential in developing thriving communities. That’s why nearly every aspect of our work requires participation and leadership from the people we partner with.

As we come alongside communities to help them succeed, people lean into their talents and strengths. They are encouraged in their identity as God’s sons and daughters. They are seen, known and loved by our team and each other.

What We Do

We provide innovative and sustainable solutions that enable rural Nicaraguans to overcome economic poverty and build a brighter future.

Tackling poverty requires a holistic approach. Our mission addresses each obstacle that people in poverty face and builds communities through authentic, Christ-centered relationships.

We are currently partnered with over 100 rural communities in Nicaragua. People are transformed through secure housing, improved health, education, and new career opportunities.

You can be a partner in equipping rural Nicaraguans! Whether you sponsor a student, donate, or experience Nicaragua for yourself, you will be helping families grow and thrive.
