Thirst Missions was founded in 2008 and leads private groups of 4+ people on short-term mission trips to Alaska, Appalachia, Belize and Puerto Rico. Thirst Missions has led more than 700 trips and 10,000 people to our locations.
We take care of all the logistics and planning so your group can focus on ministry and relationships. On each trip, Thirst Missions has a staff of 2-3 who are with your group, taking care of logistics and guiding you through the trip. It is our goal to partner with you to provide opportunities for your group to minister, keep everyone safe, to guide the trip in cultural areas, and to serve your group by taking care of all the behind-the-scenes details.hen your group attends a mission trip with Thirst Missions, you aren’t just going on another mission trip. You will be partnering with a local church and pastor who are looking for a mission team with your chosen ministries to serve alongside. You choose the ministries from our menu of 14+ available options, and we place your group in partnership with a community, church, and pastor who have identified these ministries as needs they have.
Our Statement of Faith: We believe in the divine inspiration and authority of the whole canonical Scriptures as the inerrant Word of God. We believe in the Trinity: God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We believe in sin through the fall of man and need for repentance and regeneration. We believe in the atonement of sin through the substitutionary death of Jesus Christ. We believe in the doctrine of justification by faith. We believe in the eternal life of the saved and the eternal punishment of the lost, as described in Scripture.
