“Taking the Word to the Uttermost Parts of the World through Sports.” Our main focus is on the Unreached People Groups and the restricted access countries of the world. 90% of the two billion unreached people on the planet live in the 10/40 window. We focus much of our efforts in these areas, but are not limited to them.
To create and sustain opportunities for Sending Organizations and churches to place workers in restricted-access contexts.
To see followers of Jesus living in restricted-access contexts, reaching the unreached with the Gospel.
Sport is a universal ‘language’ spoken by every people group on the face of the earth. Sport powerfully brings nations together and crosses cultural, social, religious, and economic lines — like nothing else can. It is often a “first step” activity to establishing relationships in areas where little or no Christian work exists, providing a platform to speak and, more importantly, to demonstrate the truth of God’s redeeming love.
Uttermost Sports is a sports-business missions platform that works with churches and missions organizations to send intentional followers of Jesus to represent Him in restricted-access locations. We do this by facilitating short-term and long-term opportunities for coaches, athletes, and a variety of people with sports and business expertise to work legitimately and with authenticity among unreached people groups in areas of the world that are resistant or hostile to traditional missionary efforts.
