Voice of Gospel is an International non-profit and non-governmental mission organization established by Pastor. K. V. Daniel in 1975, with the vision of reaching the unreached in India and around the world with the compassion and love of Jesus.He was born in 1955 as the fifth child of the missionary couple in Kerala. The spiritual background of Daniel enabled him to know Jesus at his early age and helped him to know the call of God in his life.
Zarephath Bible College was founded in 1991 as an ecclesiastical training centre. In 1998 it was upgraded to the level of an autonomous college and seminary. It is recognized by most of the charismatic and non-charismatic denominations. The graduates of ZCC serve the body of Christ as apostles, pastors, teachers, prophets and evangelists around the world. The training continues through seminars, conferences and short term courses.
Voice of Gospel trains, equips and sends the natives as missionaries and pastors for church planting ministry in the unreached areas of India and other parts of the world. So far our missionaries have planted 900 churches in India.
The Media Department started its work seven years ago with the very first video report of one of our Mercy Homes on YouTube. As years gone by, it is developed and grown into Christian Channel with hundreds of inspirational, motivational and encouraging sermons, teachings and worship songs, which now being available to others around the globe. Two Years ago we entered into the National Television Network with Pr. K.V Daniel’s weekly program, called “Walking with Jesus”, the teachings that lead people to victorious Christian life and growth.
According to the last census in 2001 more than 61 million people of India live in slums below the poverty line, in extremely pathetic and poor hygiene conditions. The people struggle for clean water, medical care and education. Very often they face rejection from society and are treated as outcasts. Our ministry has a burden for those people and our goal is to give them hope, that they’ve given up; show the way, that they don’t see; give moral and material support which they lack. Our pastors visit such slums in Trichur district on a regular basis, giving them Word of God and new clothes and food for adults and children. We do our best to bring hope and give a helping hand to the needy.
Our Worship Center Youth team is very outgoing and mission minded. They are young, energetic, creative and most importantly passionate for Christ. Every 2nd and 4th week of the month, they have afternoon Bible studies at the church, and every 4th Friday they conduct united Youth evening meeting, with special program and guest speakers. Twice a year YWAM India team joins our ministry to do public outreaches in Kerala state, and our Youth team is always a part of this program. Moreover a few times in a year they visit slums with program followed by Christian music, skits, mimes and much more. Along with all of that, they hold Annual State Bible Arts Competition where youth from all over Kerala state gather for the day of fellowship, renewing and refreshing in the Lord.
