What We Will Do

Your experience serving with us will leave your life and those you serve forever changed. Forever Changed International is committed to serving in Guatemala in two powerful ways: 1. Orphan Care: Dorie’s Promise Dorie’s Promise orphan care home has been serving children for more than 10 years. We provide love and hope to each and every child that lives with us until they can find a permanent loving family to call their own. Unfortunately, in December 2007 adoptions closed in Guatemala, leaving thousands of children to make an orphanage their permanent home. On our mission trip you will spend time building relationships with the children of Dorie’s Promise as well as helping our team to keep our building and property clean and safe for the children. 2. Community Outreach: Guatemala City Ghetto/Guatemala City Dump So many of the children we receive in our home come from some of the most impoverished areas that you could ever imagine. During your time in Guatemala, you will have the opportunity to serve these communities. We will schedule a week full of ministry opportunities within the ghetto, garbage dump and state run orphanages.
