Global Frontier Missions Outreach

Global Frontier Missions (GFM) hosts short-term mission trips from one day to one week serving among unreached people groups that are coming to the U.S. We meet the physical and spiritual needs of Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, and Atheists from Sudan, Ethiopia, Nepal, Iraq, Syria, Burma, Bhutan, and many other countries that have come here as international students, immigrants, and refugees. Come serve alongside churches and full-time missionaries as we minister to people that have never heard the name of Christ!

Where

We host short-term mission trips in Atlanta, Houston, Richmond, and Sydney, Australia.

When

The bulk of our teams come during Spring Break and summer (check the website for exact dates), but we can customize trips throughout the year to accommodate your group. Let us know the dates you are looking at and we can let you know availability.

Skills

We meet physical needs in the community through service projects, teaching English as a second language (ESL), helping with after school programs, job placement, etc. We meet spiritual needs through literature/media distribution, evangelism, discipling/training indigenous believers to share their faith, etc. Most of our trips are very relationship based, so no specific skills are necessary!

What We Will Do

You will come alongside long-term Global Frontier Missionaries and local ethnic churches as we reach out to unreached people groups. Part of the trip will be focused on missions education, cross-cultural orientation, and outreach training. We teach your group about unreached people groups, God’s heart for the nations, how to share your faith with people from different faiths and worldviews, cultural sensitivity, how short-term missions fits into long-term missions, etc.

We also do prayer walks at Hindu temples, mosques, and other religious sites so that we can learn a little bit more about those religions and learn how to share Good News with them. We go to ethnic restaurants and work hand in hand with indigenous churches to encourage, equip, and come alongside of them as we go out and reach out to the Hindus, Muslims, and Buddhists in our communities as we meet physical and spiritual needs. Our goal is not just to give you a great cross-cultural missions experience right here in the US, but to give you tools that will help you minister to internationals in your context.
