Agape Flights

Nearly 13 million people live in the areas regularly reached by Agape’s flights to Haiti, the Dominican Republic and the Bahamas. The supplies transported to more than 350 missionaries, their families and their missions are used to change lives, one person at a time. Each year, Agape Flights touches the lives of more than 1.5 million men, women and children through its affiliated missionaries who provide clean water, community health, education, evangelism, medical services, micro-enterprise, orphan care and vocational training.

Our History

On November 15, 1980, Agape’s inaugural flight left the Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport, bound for Cap Haitien, Haiti. The small Cessna 411 was loaded with donated emergency supplies and mail for about 25 missionary families. Today, Agape Flights serves as a lifeline from family, friends, and supporters to more than 350 missionary families in Haiti, the Dominican Republic and the Bahamas.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide excellent aviation service delivering cargo, mail and humanitarian aid to missionary partners serving Christ, carrying hope to the nations of the Caribbean.

Our Values

Our Core Values are: Service, Integrity, Excellence and Shared Purpose. At Agape Flights, we strive to honor God, obey His Word and follow His living example of love, Jesus Christ. “Agape,” the Greek word for God’s unconditional love, and the word chosen to represent this organization by our ministry’s founders, is an integral part of what guides our daily actions and ministry service. This set of shared values acts as a foundation for everyone working together at Agape Flights. Living out our core values helps Agape Flights stand accountable and reflect our mission, purpose and beliefs in all that we do.

What We Do

Nearly 13 million people live in the areas regularly reached by Agape’s flights to Haiti, the Dominican Republic and the Bahamas. Three hundred and fifty missionaries depend on Agape’s aircraft and service for timely deliveries of mail and supplies to sustain their family and ministry needs while living and working in some of the most challenging mission fields in the world.

When you support Agape Flights, you can be assured the supplies directly reach the people in need through the missionaries we serve. One of Agape’s biggest strengths is that it is available to the missionaries; a support system on the other end of the phone or email that understands what they need to receive is important and not easily purchased “down the street.”

The original principles that Agape was founded on in 1980 continue to work today. The cooperative effort forged by missionaries, donors, volunteers, board members, and staff is guided by faith in God’s son, Jesus Christ, to change and save lives. Agape’s affiliated missionary partners meet the plane and serve as the distribution network on the ground to ensure provisions reach their intended destination — orphanages, medical clinics, hospitals, schools, and churches.

In the hands of missionaries, building supplies become homes, churches, and schools. A water pump provides clean water for an entire community. Bibles and teaching materials become resources for discipleship. Medical supplies save lives.

Each year, Agape Flights touches the lives of more than one million people through its affiliated missionaries, who provide clean water, medical services, community health, micro-enterprise, education, orphan care, evangelism, and vocational training.

Agape Flights receives and distributes supplies through the missionaries and their ministries, including medicine, medical supplies, nutritional supplements, Bibles, school and office supplies, building materials, and other needed items. It also speeds up relief supplies during disasters and emergencies.
