Children of the Nations

Children of the Nations is looking for surgical/medical teams to provide medical care, dental care, trauma counseling, and/or health education, impart healthy habits, proper hygiene techniques, and positive lifestyle choices that will aid in the progress of overcoming the cycle of poverty and disease.

Our History

Sensing God’s call, Chris and Debbie Clark formed the child sponsorship program, Children of the Nations, in 1995, with a budget of just $300. Their organization has since gone on to to serve in the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Malawi, Sierra Leone, and Uganda to provide care for orphaned and destitute children. COTN, through funding primarily from child sponsorship and individual donations, operates homes, schools, farms, skills centers, clinics, and village feeding centers in an effort to provide quality care for our children.

Our Mission

To provide holistic, Christ-centered care for orphaned and destitute children, enabling them to create positive and lasting change in their nations.

Our Values

We believe in placing our trust in God for His salvation, provision, and direction. We are confident that a relationship with Jesus Christ is essential to genuine transformation. We believe in strict adherence to moral and upright conduct, in accordance to Biblical standards, in all our actions including spiritual, financial, and personal pursuits. We believe God works through the power of prayer. We believe that God created all people in His image and therefore all people have value. We believe people should be treated with love and respect. We are dedicated to caring for orphans and destitute children because of God’s mandate in James 1:27.

What We Do

We care for our children’s physical health by providing nourishing food, vitamin supplements, hygiene supplies, medical and dental care, clean water and public health initiatives, and sports programs that emphasize physical fitness.
