In 2000, Global Frontier Missions was started with two missionaries serving among the 30 unreached people groups of Oaxaca in southern Mexico. Their goal was to see the Gospel preached and disciples made among the villages and people groups that had no believers, no Bible, no churches. They hosted short-term mission teams, summer interns, started an indigenous Bible school, developed a missionary training school, all while spending time in the villages doing evangelism, discipleship, and church planting. God expanded the vision to raise up laborers to serve among unreached people groups throughout the world. GFM started locations in the US that would reach out to internationals and began sending teams to the ends of the earth to start new bases.
Global Frontier Missions aims to see God’s name glorified among the 2.9 billion people in the world who have never heard the name of Jesus Christ. Our burning passion is the Revelation 7:9,10 vision where the apostle John sees people from “every nation, tribe, people and language” worshiping the Lamb. GFM is a movement of Christ-centered communities dedicated to mobilizing, training, and multiplying disciples among the remaining 6900 unreached people groups of the earth.
Some of our core values include prayer, worship as a lifestyle, death to self, being strategic, being Spirit-led, incarnational ministry, healthy relationships, faith/generosity in finances, unity, using reproducible methods, obedience, multiplication, and being lifelong learners.
Global Frontier Missions - What We Do
Looking for an opportunity to serve from one day to one week? Our short-term mission trips would be a perfect opportunity for you to get your feet wet in missions by reaching out to unreached people groups that are coming from all over the world to our own backyard.
Looking to serve for two months? Our summer internships are a great way to try out missions for a summer to see if it might be a good long-term fit for you.
Leaning towards being a missionary but want five months to a year to get some training? Our missionary training schools are a perfect way to equip people to serve long-term cross-culturally by giving people the head (knowledge), heart (character), and hands (skills) that you need to be fruitful on the field.
Want to go long-term? We are looking for more full-time staff to help us in our existing locations as well as starting new locations both in the US and abroad.
