Founded in 2004, Global Shore Opportunities works in Guatemala, operating two non-profit, private Christian schools. With our international offices in Ontario, Canada, and Pennsylvania, USA, we provide opportunities for sponsoring student education, short-term trips and long-term partnerships.

We value relationship with Christ. We value biblical education. We value partnering with the local church. We value working together with Guatemalan nationals. We value creating meaningful service opportunities for visiting North Americans.
Our primary ministry is our school, with over 300 students from kindergarten to grade 12. Our goal is for our students to come to know Christ and to receive an education that will help bring them into God’s purpose for their life. We regularly host discipleship programs and teams from North America who participate in our school and ministry activities. Guatemalan staff lead our programs and teach in our classrooms. Our English classes are taught by North Americans partnering with our school’s vision. We have a number of year-long positions for North Americans who wish to teach English abroad.
