Thousands of missionaries have dedicated their lives to share the gospel. The church has expended millions of dollars to equip them and to send them out. On the front line, these spiritual soldiers experience a high level of trauma, stress, and conflict. Many return to their homes wounded, discouraged, and broken. Each year 20% leave the mission field. Tragically, it appears that for these soldiers, there are few places of healing and rest.

He Restoreth Ministries is working to provide a place of healing and rest for these weary and wounded missionaries. God has provided a beautiful apartment and property where these missionaries can stay. God has equipped Brent and Ruth Ullom to minister to hurting missionaries. Brent is a trained counselor, and Ruth is gifted in hospitality. They both grew up on the mission field; and as missionaries, they raised their four children in Ecuador for 6 years. They have also suffered various traumas on the mission field (e.g., they lost a newborn).

We are here for missionaries needing a break. We strive to minister to the whole family at one of the most beautiful spots on earth. 114 acres with forest, fields, pond, and two creeks. Internet counseling and in-person counseling available, specializing in marriage and family, cross-cultural, and crisis. For singles and families.

Our vision and heart’s desire is to minister to you as effectively as possible. We are both missionary kids, and we also lived with our children for six years as missionaries in Ecuador. We understand the hectic stress of furlough and the traumas the mission field can involve. We feel you should take some time to rest during your time in the U.S. We would love to provide a time of rest for you and your family.
