I Live Again Uganda

I Live Again Uganda offers you the opportunity to bring healing, hope and restored identity to survivors of war. We are bringing holistic healing to those affected by war living in a slum – Acholi Quarter in Kampala, to thousands of individuals in the northern region of the country and to refugees that have come to our nation. We provide the following programs – Trauma Counseling, Discipleship/Faith Based Support, Resettlement and Community Development.

Our History

As an indigenous organization we are serving victims of war and their families. We began by serving communities in Northern Uganda affected by the LRA insurgency. In time, we began reaching beyond the northern region to families in Acholi Quarter which is a slum found in Kampala, Uganda where families and individuals ran to during the war. We currently have an office in Acholi Quarter in Kampala as well as Gulu in Northern Uganda and most recently in Palabek Refugee Settlement.

Our Mission

Our mission is to give hope to survivors of war through holistic restoration and to encourage those we serve to live a life of purpose.

Our Values

• We value CHRIST as the center of all things and the giving of the love of Christ to those we serve. • We value FAMILY and that every person we serve comes from, has a purpose within and belongs to a family. • We value EQUITY recognizing that each person that requests services from us deserves excellence no matter where they come from or their beliefs. • We value ACCOUNTABILITY towards each other, those we serve, those that support our work and ultimately God. • We value RESTORATION of those we serve impacted by war.
